CISPR 25 CHAMBER

Purpose

The CISPR 25 Chamber is developed with the focus on radiated emissions in a semi-anechoic environment over a frequency range from 70 MHz to 18 GHz for vehicle component testing in accordance with CISPR 25.

Consisting of a fully modular system for shielding and absorbers, the installed chamber can be set up stepwise and adapted to changes to the Equipment Under Test (EUT) sizes.

Technical Description

For vehicle Components testing:

  • Chamber shielding dimensions: 5.5 x 4.3 x 3.3 m (l x w x h) approx.
  • Space requirement inside building: 6.5 x 5.3 x 4.3 m (l x w x h) approx., depending on support type.
  • Usable space inside: 4.6 x 3.4 x 2.7 m (l x w x h) approx.
  • One door of 1.2 x 2.05 m clear opening with mechanical actuation aid. The door is equipped with a switch to be connected to the interlock system for amplifier auto power off.

For Vehicle testing:

  • Chamber shielding dimensions: 7.9 x 6.4 x 3.6 m (l x w x h) approx.
  • Space requirement inside building: 8.9 x 7.4 x 4.6 m (l x w x h) approx., depending on support type.
  • Usable space inside: 6.9 x 5.4 x 3.0 m (l x w x h) approx.
  • One door of 2.1 x 2.05 m clear opening with mechanical actuation aid. The door is equipped with a switch to be connected to the interlock system for amplifier auto power off.
  • Fully galvanized modular shielding system made of 2 mm steel. Electromagnetic shielding performance of shielding compliant with EN 50147-1 and MIL STD 285:
